BLIND ANT
A new species found which revels the discovery of science found in Goa .Ant is very small measuring about 2.5 mm in length .Its colour is yellow & it is completely blind. This ant is under the Genus protanilla, it is a rare group of ant.In this genus 12 species are famous in world.This ant occour 13th number under the protanilla a species .
At Netruvali wildlife in Goa, the ant has emerged underground means under the soil.This ant has unique style that can exclusively underground. This research has been taken by the researcher Pronoy Baidya.
In this research 350 sites of Goa had included .the ant is under species protanilla just measuring about 2.5 mm in length, colour yellow & which one is completely blind .
Normally the ants have two eyes as the antenas have to protect their connection lust but they also have eyes . But in this species protanilla they have no eyes , they just have only chemical signals to creat aq row or constable . Man while for this type of ant the world is black.
The interesting fact of that is , it has two collections while elaborating with two hypogene ants.Till end of the date this species found in netravali wildlife santuary in whole world .
